Day 1 : Bagdogra – Gangtok

Arrival at Bagdogra. You will be driven to Gangtok. Check in at your hotel. In the evening, you can go for a stroll on the MG Marg. Overnight in Gangtok.

Day 2 : Gangtok – Tsomgo Lake – Baba Mandir – Gangtok

Leave for Tsomgo Lake (12,400 ft/3750 m/3 hrs drive) and Baba Harbhajan Mandir(13,200 ft/4000 m). The drive to the lake takes you through a mountainous landscape which makes the drive pleasant. Tsomgo is a sacred lake that attracts tourists from far and wide. It is a high-altitude lake that is soaked in pristine beauty. With different seasons it reflects different hues. During winter it gets frozen, while in spring it brims with life with colourful flowers in its surroundings. Baba Harbhajan Mandir is a shrine that was built in honour of a courageous Indian soldier named Baba Harbhajan Singh. He died due to extreme weather conditions while carrying supplies to a remote post near the Nathula Pass in eastern Sikkim. You will travel back to Gangtok. Overnight in Gangtok.

Day 3 : Gangtok – Lachung

Travel to Lachung; it is a mesmerising mountain village hemmed in by snow-capped mountain peaks. It is famous for its lovely waterfalls, glistening streams, and apricot, peach, and apple orchids. The Lachung Chu river passes through the middle of the village, slicing it into two. On the way, halt at Singhik View Point to capture amazing views of Mount Silnoulchu and the fierce Seven Sisters Waterfall, which offers awe-inspiring views. After reaching Lachung, check in to the hotel. You can also explore Lachung Gompa, which dates back to 1880 and is set amidst an apple orchard. You can also visit the handicraft centre to buy beautifully woven blankets and rugs as souvenirs. Overnight in Lachung.

Day 4 : Lachung – Yumthang Valley – Lachung – Gangtok

Leave for the Yumthang Valley, also called ‘The Valley of Flowers’ early in the morning. It is a gorgeous valley with sheer greenery encompassing a variety of flowers and trees. A charming river passes through this valley. The sights of yaks, goats, and horses grazing in the grassy plains are a sight to behold. On the way back, treat your senses with the beauty of Bheema and Twin Waterfalls. Overnight in Gangtok.

Day 5 : Gangtok – Pelling

After breakfast, travel to Pelling, the enchanting town located in the middle of a pine forest in west Sikkim. The drive from Gangtok to Pelling is refreshing as you will pass through the tea gardens, mountains, and picturesque surroundings. At Pelling witness the unparalleled beauty of the world-famous Kangchenjunga. The town also has age-old monasteries on its attraction list. Check in at the hotel in Pelling. Overnight in Pelling.

Day 6 : Pelling

Visit the wonderful attractions of Pelling. Spend some time at the mesmerising Kanchenjunga waterfalls to rejuvenate your body and mind. It is surrounded by greenery and is an ideal place to have some relaxed moments. Next on the list is Sewaro Rock Garden soaked in serenity and beauty. Visit Darap Valley, which is a treat to the eyes. The fresh air and lovely scenery of the valley are so refreshing. Take a lunch break and then continue with the sightseeing. Now visit other attractions of Pelling, the Pema Yangtse monastery, Helipad Ground, Rimbi waterfalls, the Khecheopalri sacred Lake and Rabdentse Ruins. Overnight in Pelling.

Day 7 : Pelling – Kalimpong

Morning transfer to Kalimpong, another quiet hill station in the Eastern Himalaya. Kalimpong is famous for its orchids and nurseries and some of the rarest cacti and orchids can be seen. Oak, maple, and chestnut trees stretch up the ridge as far as the eye can reach. Half day sightseeing in & around Kalimpong covering Durpin Dhara, Zong Dong Palri Fo-Brong Monastery, flower & orchid nurseries, and Kalimpong Market. Overnight in Kalimpong.

Day 8 : Kalimpong – Darjeeling

Travel to Darjeeling, the Queen of Hills, with lovely green gardens, gushing rivers, old bridges, and traditional villages. In 1835, Darjeeling was declared a hill station for British soldiers and civil servants. The British transformed Darjeeling into a thriving tea cultivation area (Darjeeling tea, also known as the “Champagne of Teas”), built colonial architecture and built the famous Darjeeling Himalayan Railway, known as the “Toy Train,” which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Overnight in Darjeeling.

Day 9 : Darjeeling

Leave the hotel at around 4 am in the morning to reach the magnificent Tiger Hill, which is the highest point of Darjeeling. It offers breathtaking views of the sunrise over Mt. Kanchenjunga. While coming back from the hill, halt at the Batasia Loop, a spiral railway track, and at the Ghoom Monastery. Then continue your journey with a visit to the Japanese Temple, a Buddhist pilgrimage known for its wonderful traditional Japanese architecture. Other attractions that will be covered are the Himalayan Mountaineering Institute, Tenzing Rock, Peace Pagoda, and Chitrey Tea Garden (outer view). Admire the British colonial architecture that add to the town’s charm: Victorian-style buildings that dot the landscape, the Governor’s House, now known as Raj Bhavan, St. Andrew’s Church, St. Paul’s School, and the Town Hall. In the evening, enjoy a leisurely walk on the Mall Road and Chowrasta. Overnight in Darjeeling.

Day 10 : Darjeeling – Bagdogra Airport

Transfer to Badgogra airport.
