Day 1 : Leh

Arrival at Leh by the morning flight and transfer to the hotel. Full day of complete rest to get acclimatised to the high altitude of Leh (11,500 ft / 35 00 m). Overnight at Leh. 

Day 2 : Leh

After breakfast, visit the Shey Palace, Thiksey Monastery, Hemis Monastery, and Stok Palace Museum. Overnight at Leh.

Day 3 : Leh – Lamayuru – Uleytoko

In the morning, we will travel down the Indus Valley on a tour of the Lamayuru circuit, famous for the dramatically located ancient Lamayuru monastery and the adjoining Moonland features. After sightseeing and lunch here, we will retrace the Leh route till Uleytokpo and check in at a fixed camp/resort for an overnight stay. Overnight at Uleytokpo.

Day 4 : Uleytoko – Leh

After breakfast drive towards Leh, on the way visiting the 11th century Alchi Choskor, oldest surviving monastic heritage of Ladakh- a UNESCO listed heritage site. Thereafter, visit Sangam (confluence of Indus & Zanskar Rivers), Magnetic Point, Gurudwara Pathar Sahib, Kali Mata (Temple of Guardians in Spituk monastery) & Hall of Fame. Overnight at Leh.

Day 5 : Leh – Nubra Valley

After breakfast leave for Nubra Valley, driving across Khardong-la (alt: 18,380 ft). After descending from the pass, drive on for sightseeing of Sumoor area and Samstaling Gompa. Later check into a fixed camp in the same area or drive across to Deskit / Hundar for overnight in a fixed camp or hotel. Overnight at Nubra Valley.

Day 6 : Nubra Valley – Leh

In the morning visit / explore Deskit , Hundar and the Sand Dunes Later drive back to Leh reaching in the late afternoon / evening. Overnight at Leh.

Day 7 : Leh – Pangong Lake – Leh

Full day excursion to Pangong Lake (approx. 300 km round trip, located on the Indo-China Border), on the way crossing the Chang-la pass (alt: 17370 ft.). After sightseeing around the lake, drive back to Leh, reaching in the late afternoon / evening. Overnight at Leh.

Day 8 : Leh

Free day for rest after the long journey to Pangong Lake. In the afternoon visit Shanti Stupa, Sankar Gompa, Leh Palace & the markets. Overnight at the hotel. Overnight at Leh.

Day 9 : Leh – Tsomoriri – Korzok

Early departure for Tsomo-riri Lake (alt: 15,000 ft.) driving through Chumathang (hot springs), Mahe and Puga Sumdo. Tsomoriri Lake (28 km long & about 8 km wide) is the breeding ground of many migratory birds including the rare bar-headed geese. Dinner & overnight in fixed camp or Guest House. Overnight at Korzoh.

Day 10 : Tsomoriri – Tsokar – Taglangla – Leh

After breakfast retrace the route down to Puga Sumdo and then follow the road across the Polokongka Pass (4920 m) to visit Tsokar Lake, a salt lake system in the Rupsho plateau which is home of the Changa nomads and support many rare wild life species. After sightseeing of the area take the Manali-Leh road to return to Leh, crossing Taglang-la (alt: 17,585ft) en- route. Overnight at Leh.

Day 11 : Leh airport

Early morning transfer to the airport for taking the flight for onward journey.
